Plastic-y, Clove-y, Band-Aid like. Those are all phenolic and usually due to wild yeast.

Hit all your stuff with a sanitizer other than what you normally use. Then hit it with what you normally use.

Something acidic will taste sour or like vinegar. Sometimes it reminds me of green olives.

Wild yeasts will way over-attenuate a beer and leave it gushing.
