Visited Pizza Port

I just visited Pizza Port brewing and bottle shop in Carlsbad while on vacation. I was very impressed. Crazy crowded, good pizza, lots of house and guest beer on tap. Bottle shop right next door was huge. Great place!

Been to the one in Solana Beach a few times. Can't say I'm much impressed by the pizza there. Plus, way too jammed on a weekend evening to make it worth fighting the crowd for a seat or a beer.

PP Cbad is definitely the best of their pubs. I used to live by PP solana beach and almost every time I've been there they've had hardly any of their own stuff on tap and the guest list wasn't too great either. when I go back down to SD I drive the extra 20min to get to PP carlsbad.

the wings are killer too btw.

+1

A couple days before NHC, I went to one on the beach with Dirk McLargeHuge, CPT & Mrs. Carrot, and SGT Satan.
Great time, and great beers, and yes, the pizza was damn good, too.
