Granite City Yeast Strains???

I recently acquired a rather large quantity of both ale and lager yeast from the head "fermenter" from a local Granite City restaurant. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about what GC uses....the fermguy didn't know much as he seemed to be kept in the dark by the big corporate guys....any ideas?
