I saw that when it aired....it was awesome. A bit far fetched...but it put a smile on my face, and definitely made the beer I was drinking more enjoyable.

Upon further review...

When the program first aired, the network sponsor was Coors Light. Thru out the program they had stock footage of various Miller Coors products to demonstrate the point they were making. Yet, when Dr. Charley Bamforth speaks he is uncredited in the segments he is shown narrating. Why is this?

Perhaps because he is the Anheiser Busch Chair at UC Davis?

Maybe I read to much into this, but, for good or ill, AB created a great deal of 20th century American brewing.

I found this to be a great 60 minute commercial for Miller Coors.
