NO! goddammit, I was thinking that I would lose some weight just by not drinking. I ate pretty healthy, exercised a little, and had no alcohol and I lost exactly 0.8lbs which can probably be attributed to what I ate the day before. i'm 6'0" 245 so Ive got plenty to lose too. bullshit. I'm starting over again, no booze, eat super healthy, exercise more, and if that doesnt change my weight I'm gonna develop an eating disorder or something.
or maybe I'll try that cayenne pepper and lemon juice cleanse that J never tried

Good for you on doing the weight loss. About 2 years ago I found myself in the same situation. I didn't give up beer but did cut back. The rest I did primarily with portion control on what I ate. Always leave the table feeling like you could handle another helping. I also went for higher fiber foods and began snacking on unsalted roasted peanuts instead of cookies. The weight loss has been slow but steady been averaging about a pound a month loss. Twenty five pounds so far and about 15 to go. Slow loss is much more easily sustainable than a rapid loss. The gradual change in habits is easier to maintain.
