Back when my kids were young, we would regularly keep that V8 100% fruit juice in stock in our fridge. Apparently back then it didn't have all the harsh preservatives. Well, we left a half finished bottle in the fridge while we went back East to visit family over Xmas. When we got back, the container was bulging. It accidentally wasn't screwed on too tight - think spunding valve. 8) I told the wife, "ah, that's daddy's magic juice, now"...

I have to admit, it was pretty tasty, efforvescent and alcoholic. Must have been some wild lager strain or something because it fermented at 40.

This could be dangerous in the mitts of idiots. Picture a college kid trying to ferment Monster or Powerade.
