True that.

I thought DPA in cans was bigger news.

It's back......

And it also explains man-boobs

"BPA is a man-made compound not found in nature, and able to mimic estrogen, which creates worries that exposure to it amounts to an extra dollop of the female hormone."

On a lighter note, ever wanted to know "are you fitter than the average canadian"?

FDA - BPA can continue to be legally used until further notice, even in baby bottles, and certainly in food and drink can linings.

This has become google's top answer for the question: "Do beer cans contains BPA", updating the thread with the newest info:

Apparently it screws with your sperm if you work in a Chinese factory  .

Arguing that you're going to die from something anyway, so who cares, is naive. If I could drink my cheap beer and avoid having my DNA screwed with by an unnecessary man-made chemical, then I'm all for it. People should get pissed and demand action when things like this come to light. Corporations only use these chemicals because they're cheap and easy. They don't care about your health.

If you don't care about your own health that's fine, but why take a stand against other people who want to protect their bodies from industrial toxins?

Save your temple for good beer. :jnj

Working in a Chinese chemical factory potentially risky to your health? Now that's surprising.

This is one of many reasons on my list of reasons I brew my own beer. Albeit it is pretty low on the list.
