How to Brew
Brewing Classic Styles
Brew Like A Monk
Designing Great Beers
Wild Brews
The Complete Joy of Homebrewing
Beer Companion
Dave Miller's Homebrewing Guide
Beer Captured
Brewing Quality Beers (Byron Burch)
The Home Brewer's Companion
Organic Beer Guide

If you watch ebay, amazon used books and the green board, you can pick up a great library for next to nothing. I probably have less than $100 in my collection, and though sold as used, most are like new.

I have a modest collection of brewing related books. These are in no particular order other than the order they got stuck on the bookshelf when I moved a couple months back.

"Radical Brewing" by Randy Mosher
"Clone Brews" by Tess and Mark Szamatulski
"Better Beer & How to Brew It" by M.R. Reese (1978 edition)
"Designing Great Beers" by Ray Daniels
"Extreme Brewing" by Sam Caglione
"Principles of Brewing Science" by George Fix
"Beer in America: The Early Years" by Gregg Smith
"Beer: A History of Suds and Civilization From Mesopotamia to Microbreweries" by Gregg Smith
"Beer Captured" by Tess and Mark Szamatulski
"Brewing up a Business" by Sam Caglione
"Brew Like a Monk" by Stan Hieromymus
"Brewing Classic Styles" by some brewing hacks
"How to Brew" (2 copies) by John Palmer
"Wild Brews" by Jeff Sparrow
"Farm House Ales" by Phil Markowski
"Hop Variety Characteristics" compiled by Hop Union
"Prost! The Story of German Beer" by Horst Dornbusch
"The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing" by Charlie Papazian

I also have several years of Zymurgy and Brew Your Own that I also use for reference.

All good lists. I must give special mention to Mosher's Radical Brewing. The book is great fun and the receipes are fabulous also. My favorite to date.
