So I'm a new brewer (cooking batch 3 in about 6 hours) but so far my beer has been a hit. So much so, that I've gotten a request. My aunt and uncle are moving to a new property here in Western New York after living in DC. They bought an amazing property with it's own lake, cherry trees and apple trees. The lake is stocked with bass and it's an amazing piece of land.

So, when they move in the last two weeks of august I would love to have a couple of cases ready as a house warming gift. I want something that would be tasty to drink when it's hot and people are working the land. I also want something that captures the nature of farmland rich with fruits.

Any thoughts for an extract recipe?

I would agree with Bub, however Hefe's are not a hit with everyone. Make sure they have had a true Bavarian style Hefe before slamming this down in front of them. Or just play it safe and brew and American Hefe, same recipe just use WLP320.

Emglish Pale is a good gateway as well....the Chiswick Bitters from NHBD or any of JZ's Bitters are great light beers...
