I brewed a 5 gal. partial mash iipa on 3/8/2008
Kegged on 4/2/2008
Estimated Original Gravity: 1.102
Estimated Final Gravity: 1.026 SG
Measured Original Gravity: 1.101
Measured Final Gravity: 1.043
I used a good sized starter of Pacman yeast.
Fermentation seemed to go fine but after close to a month it was still way high.
I thought maybe if it had a little age to it it might get better. I was wrong(well so far at least) tastes like shit.
So, it's already carbonated and in a keg, any ideas.
Can I decarb and repitch?
Should I risk blending it, and if so with what?
Or should I take off my pants and down it cause it's still 7.62 %
