Here are some pics of an IPA I brewed yesterday. It's a partial mash brew with 6lbs of Briess light DME, 1lb of victory malt, and 1lb of crystal 40. I steeped the grains at 152F for 30 minutes, rinsed with 160+F and transferred to the brew kettle.
For hops I used .5oz Chinook at 60 mins - .75oz of Cascade at 40, then 20, then 5 minutes. Added a little irish moss last 15 minutes and then chilled.

In a few days, I'll dry hop with an ounce of Hallertau leaves.

Just curious, why did you use the Cascade for bittering and the Chinook for flavor and aroma?

Thanks for pointing that out. I corrected the post. I used Chinook as the bittering hop.

Man, that grain looks barely cracked. Great pics though, makes me want to go and brew right now.

Where are the naked chicks? Doesn't everybody brew with naked chicks around?

Wow I'm a douche. That clip on your hose that keeps it attached to the bucket...I've always used that to hold the racking cane. I'd always mention to myself how useless it is because the hose still moves around. :asshat:
