Last night I had the privilege of attending Jay Brooks' 50th birthday party at the Toronado in San Francisco. As if the Toronado was not cool enough, Jay made the party a Hawaii Five-0 themed bash, complete with flowered shirts and lays (yes I got layed...we all did). A highlight of the evening was another crazy concoction by the Homebrew Chef, Sean Paxton. Sean treated guests with tropical beer cocktails like only the Homebrew Chef could do. Here is Sean describing his fruity blend:
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surpirsed by the beer cocktail. I think the secret is more beer, easy on the fruit.
